A new play intensive for undergraduate actors, writers and directors. The NYAP/EST Summer Conservatory Program (SCP) offers students an opportunity to create new theatre of their own in the heart of New York City’s theatre district and earn six college credits.

LOS ANGELES WRITERS BLOC

This safe haven peer writers group serves as a home for projects and writers in process. Founded by playwright Jeffrey Sweet in New York, the LA Group began in the mid 80’s, anchored by Jane Anderson, Tony Shultz and Susan. Our alums include writers from Disney to Dreamworks and Random House to rant groups. We meet weekly working on fiction, memoir, plays and screenplays. Though the group is by invitation only we are always interested in welcoming new members.  Please email Susan for further information.

Women exploring their spiritual heritage in the Jewish tradition meet weekly to develop new material for possible inclusion for the JWT At Homes Salon Series and future publication.

ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATRE NEW PLAY INTENSIVE http://www.ensemblestudiotheatre.org

This program to debut summer 2010 in association with Ohio Wesleyan University, is a 6 week intensive in the art of new play development staffed by the member artists of the Ensemble Studio Theatre, America’s pioneer in new play development.
