Since coming to LA she has appeared in numerous television shows, plays and in the film casts of LOST IN YONKERS (Aunt Gert), THINGS TO DO IN DENVER WHEN YOU'RE DEAD, PHENOMENON and TERMINATOR 3!

She began her career as an actress in New York, starring in such Off Broadway hits as the original company of Jack Heifner’s VANITIES, spending time on Broadway, regional theatre and in the Off Off Broadway developmental world. She relocated to LA where her acting career continues to include stage,  television and film work. See reels for both film and voice over.

A veteran of new play development, she currently leads the Los Angeles Writers Bloc, which she co-founded with writer Jane Anderson and the Jewish Womens Theatre Writers Studio. She has also been named director of the Ensemble Studio Theatre New Play Intensive in association with Ohio Wesleyan University (summer 2010). She served as Resident Playwright for the Jewish Women’s Theatre Project, Literary Manager of the Ensemble Studio Theatre/ LA and has worked as a reader for such companies as Fogwood Films, TNT, and Polygram among many others. She served as Artistic Director of the Streisand Festival for New Plays and has worked as Associate Producer at the Fountain and Mark Taper Forum theatres in Los Angeles. She is currently on the board of the Ensemble Studio Theatre, New York.

Her plays — HAIR: A REMINISCENCE is a 2007 Heideman Award finalist at Louisville; and BOUNTY OF LACE a 2008 Religion and Theatre Award recipient — have been seen at theatres across the US and Canada, her fiction in various journals and anthologies, and DREAMING IN DAYLIGHT, her debut novel, comes out May 2009. She has written and performed eight solo performance pieces and her book YOUR NAME HERE; AN ACTOR WRITERS GUIDE TO SOLO PERFORMANCE is available in bookstores nationally including Amazon.com.

She is currently teaching Playwriting at Cal State University Fullerton and serving as Coordinator for Dramaturgy for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
